In loving memory of Delores "Lois" Cook (née Watts), who was called home at the age of 61 on February 3, 2024. Born in Pensacola, FL, on November 17, 1962, Lois spent her formative years in her birthplace before embarking on a life that would be characterized by her spirited and compassionate nature.

An alumna of Pineforest High School, Lois furthered her education at Capps College, embodying a passion for learning and personal growth. Those who knew Lois will recall her as a woman of great resolve and heart, unafraid to speak her mind and always ready to extend a hand of kindness.

The void left by her passing is felt deeply by her beloved father, Charles Watts Sr.; and her cherished children, Alex (Anthony) Thomas, Deavis Watts-Wright, and DeAries Watts-Riley. Lois's legacy of love continues through her treasured 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, her brothers, Charles Watts Jr., Robert Watts, and Jerome (Lisa) Watts; her sister, Rebecca Watts; and a host of godchildren, nieces, and nephews. She now joins in eternal rest her late mother, Hertell Watts, and sister, Linda Hawkins, who predeceased her.

Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects at Grace & Truth Prayer Temple, located at 5416 Sun Valley Dr.  Pensacola, FL. The service, led by Pastor L.V. Gibbs, February 24th @ 11:00am will be a celebration of the life and spirit of Lois.  Her remains were in-trusted to Heard Family Funeral Home Detroit, MI.

Lois's presence will be sorely missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have felt the warmth of her love and the strength of her convictions.
