Delores Ann Henderson-Carr, affectionately known as Delorey, passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 70. She was born on January 10, 1954, in Fort Sill, OK, and most recently resided in Albany, GA. Delores had a vibrant personality and was a blessing to everyone around her.

Delores served in the U.S Navy, where she had the fortune of meeting her loving husband, Larry Henderson, an active Navy Seal. Together, they shared a beautiful life until Larry's passing in 2012. Despite not having any children of their own, Delores cherished her role in taking care of her husband and being a support system for her extended family.

Delorey will be remembered for her infectious smile and the way she lit up every room she entered. She believed in living life to the fullest and had a motto: "Girl, you better live life!" Delores was known for her love and devotion to her family, and spending time with them brought her immense joy.

Delores is survived by her twin sister, Debra Carr Merritt, as well as Elaine Carr-Hunt and Denita L Carr, all of whom were raised alongside her in Colquitt. She had a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews, always making them smile and bringing warmth to their lives.

Delores Ann Henderson-Carr will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her loving nature, vibrant spirit, and unwavering smile will be cherished in the memories of her friends and family.
