Della Marie Downey, born on July 23, 1968, passed away at 1:37 a.m. on January 8, 2026.
Della was a devoted and loving mother whose life centered around her children. She is survived by her three children: Kyler Downey, age 28, and twins Kelsea Downey and Kacey Downey, both age 21. Her love for them was unwavering and unconditional, and they were the greatest joy of her life.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn; her sister, Robin; and her brother, Joe. She is survived by her father, Charles; her brother, Pete; and Chucky, along with extended family and friends who will continue to cherish her memory.
Della will be remembered for her strength, her heart, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her presence left a lasting impact, and her memory will live on through her children and all who knew her.
A service to honor and celebrate Della’s life will be held at Wayne City Christian Church. Further service details will be shared by the family.
Though she is no longer with us, Della’s love and spirit remain forever.
