Delinah Glass, known affectionately as Nina, was born on September 25, 1977, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, and passed away on January 27, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. A devoted mother and grandmother, Delinah cherished spending time with her grandbabies and was passionate about hosting Tik Tok Live videos and cooking for her family.
With a career that spanned 25 years as a dispatcher, Delinah made significant contributions to her community. She was especially proud of her role in running Search and Rescue SATX for seven years, where she tirelessly worked to bring peace to families searching for missing loved ones. A proud member of the Judson Jr Rockets Football Organization, she devoted her time to supporting young athletes and fostering a sense of community.
Delinah held degrees in Criminal Justice and Cosmetology and received her Private Investigator License, showcasing her diverse interests and commitment to her pursuits. She is survived by her loving husband, James Glass, and her children: Monica Monaye Glass, DeAndre Dwayne Glass, Devin Anthony Myers, Devonte O'Shea Glass, and Aleeyah Marie Glass. She is also survived by her nephew, Elijah James Ray, her father, William Fernandez, and her brothers, Marcos Angel Fernandez and Nyk Guillermo Fernandez.
Known for her caring, loving, and energetic personality, Delinah never met a stranger and was always quick to find the good in life. Her outgoing nature and talkative spirit left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered. Delinah's legacy of compassion and support will continue to resonate in the lives of those she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who find comfort in the memories of her unwavering love and dedication.
