It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Delia "Del" Medina on May 19, 2026 at the age of 68. Commonly known as Del, she preferred Delia, a name that reflected her generous and loving spirit. Delia was predeceased by her mother Belen Torres, her nephew Angel Almanza, her brother Andrew Almanza, her father Antonio Almanza, and her cherished husband Rafa Medina.

Delia was born in 1958 and had a lifelong love for oldies music, which often filled her home with warmth and nostalgia. She was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, often incorporating her favorite color green into her team's support. She enjoyed watching television shows like The Bold and the Beautiful, and The Young and the Restless. Her favorite book was The Bible, a clear testament to her strong faith and belief in love and kindness.

Delia was a quiet, loving and genuine woman whose kindness extended to everyone she knew, thus creating a beautiful and lasting legacy. She believed in loving like Christ loved, and she embodied this principle in everything she did. Despite not having children of her own, Delia was like a mother to all those around her. She generously shared her meals, offered advice, and opened her home to anyone in need.

Delia's favorite recreational activities were spending time with her family and friends. Her ideal vacation spots were Mexico and Yuma, where she enjoyed the tranquility and verdant landscapes. Although she is no longer with us, Delia's memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her influence continues to inspire love and kindness.

As we mourn the loss of Delia, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and has been reunited with her parents, brother, nephew, and her beloved husband. Her gentle yet powerful presence will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain.
