Ms. Delamya Mae (Fontenot) Thomas passed away on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025, at the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Ms. Thomas was born to the late Mr. James Thompson & Mrs. Delamya Thompson. on September 18, 1949. Ms. Thomas attended Benedict College where she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Elementary Education. Ms. Thomas was a retired educator of the McDuffie County Public School System of Georgia. Ms. Thomas leaves behind her children Ervin J. (Stacey) & Truus Thomas, her mother Mrs. Delamya Thompson, her sister Ms. Truus Thompson, four grandchildren Kennedi, Johnnie, Tyler, Olivia, & one great granddaughter Kalanni. She also leaves behind a host of family & friends..
