Earlier in life she loved getting her nails and eyebrows done, taking her children to six flags Darien lake every summer. She also enjoyed family gatherings, bingo and playing cards. She adored the holidays like Thanksgiving with her family recipe homemade stuffing and Christmas with her Christmas cookies she made with her children. Later in life she also loved watching her soap opera days of our lives and watching football with her son. She also loved to Christmas shop for her children and grandchildren.
Pigs in a blanket, tacos, medium rare steak, roast beef and provolone sandwiches, wonton soup and avocados. She enjoyed snacks like kettle corn popcorn, Sweet and sour gummy worms, limbers, chocolate covered cherries, pistachio ice cream and peppermints. Her favorite beverages were Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper and Starbucks ice cold coffees.

She was a fighter, a black sheep of her family, always came out on top when the odds were against her, a leader, achiever, a strong loving single mother and a beloved grandmother.

Deborah Faith White, born on August 12, 1964, in Houston, Texas, passed away on December 16, 2024, in Buffalo, New York. A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Deborah was a remarkable individual who faced life's challenges with resilience and strength.
Deborah was a proud LPN care manager at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, where she dedicated her life to helping others. Her professional achievements were a testament to her leadership and determination, qualities that were evident in her role as a loving single mother to her five children, Michael Wells, Kimberly Strasser, Stanford White, Tiffany White, and the late Angelina White(R.I.P). She cherished her relationship with her grandchildren: Brooke Wells, Dasjaun Ford, Daquon Ford, Nevaeh Graham, Joseph White, Samiyah White, Natalie Morgan-White, Kaylani Proctor, Mazani Proctor, Kylie Wells, William Proctor, and Heaven White, who brought her immense joy.
In her earlier years, Deborah enjoyed pampering herself with manicures and eyebrow shaping, and she loved spending summers at Six Flags Darien Lake with her children. Family gatherings were a constant source of happiness, especially during the holidays when she prepared her family’s cherished recipes, including homemade stuffing for Thanksgiving and Christmas cookies made with her children. Deborah also found joy in bingo, playing cards, and watching her favorite soap opera, "Days of Our Lives," and alongside her son watching football while cheering for her favorite team The Buffalo Bills.
Deborah had a passion for food, relishing dishes like pigs in a blanket, sushi, tacos, and medium-rare steak, while also enjoying sweet treats such as chocolate-covered cherries and pistachio ice cream. Her favorite beverages were Mountain dew, Dr.Pepper, and her Starbucks cold brew coffees. Her love for music spanned genres and eras, with favorite artists including Dolly Parton, Reba, Luther Vandross, George Michaels, Tupac, Michael Jackson, Salt-N-Pepa and Prince, reflecting her vibrant spirit.
She is survived by her parents, Winona Smith and Wilfred Thompsett; her siblings, Michael P. Thompsett, Kelley DiSalvo, and Kevin Duggan; and husband, Stanford White. She is preceded in death by the fathers of her children, Carl Wells and Gregory Strasser.
Deborah will be remembered not only for her loving nature but also for her unwavering spirit as the black sheep of her family, always emerging victorious against life’s challenges. Her legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to family will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
