Tributes
In loving memory of my dear Robert
Together we walked for sixty-three years
Through seasons of joy and moments of strife
You were my partner, my love, and my life.
From laughter that echoed in warm, sunlit days
To whispered dreams shared in countless ways
Your gentle spirit, a beacon so bright,
Guided me softly through dark into light.
We danced through the years, hand in hand
Creating a world, just as we planned
With each passing moment, our love only grew
In the tapestry woven, I'll always find you.
You taught me the beauty in everyday things
In the rustle of leave and the joy that love brings
Now as I stand with a heart full of pain
I hold on to memories that forever remain.
Though time may take you from this earthly sphere
Your essence surrounds me, forever near.
In quiet reflection, in dreams soft and deep
I'll cherish your love, a promise I'll keep.
So rest, my dear Robert in peace and in grace
For you'll always be with me, in every embarce
With love from your Dorothy, until we meet again
In the eternal dance where our love knows no end.
Your Wife, Dorothy
Granddaddy,
Thank you for everything! The long talks, ice cream dates, laughs, and always being there when I called are memories I will cherish forever. Truly the greatest man I've ever known. Mama you won this time lol! May you both continue to cover and watch over me. I hope I fulfill everything I promised you I would.
Love you forever
Your "FAVORITE", Kourtnei
Granddaddy,
I will forever cherish everything you've done for me and your Bucket.
After losing mama, I thought I lost it all.
Somehow, you and grandma filled that void and made everything alright.
I'll never forget our talks at the kitchen table while we ate dinner or bugging you to get another package off the porch.
I thank you for showing me the world of being a "mechanic". Failed brakes and tearing down the garage door will be my favorite memory together.
Thank you for showing me what a provider is. A family man. A STRONG man. A man who would stop the world for his family.
The Tuesday before you left I gave you the biggest hug, told you "I loved you", and said "See you later".
Granddaddy, I didn't know this would be our "later".
I'm going to miss you more than ever.
You've lit the torch and I promise we will carry it with honor.
No goodbye's. Only "See you later".
I love you Mr. Braddy.
Your Granddaughter,
LaTracia "Dee"
Grandpa, though you're gone from sight
Your love still shines, a guiding light
In stories told, in laughter shared
Your memory, a treasure, carefully paired.
Your hands, so strong, your heart so kind
A gentle soul, a peaceful mind.
The lessons taught, the wisdom given
Echo in my hear, a gift from heaven.
I see you now, in summer breeze
In the rustling leave of ancient trees.
Though time may pass, I'll always know
Your love surrounds me, wherever I go.
A grandson's love, forever true
Remembering you, in all I do.
Until we meet again, I'll hold you near
My grandpa, my hero, forever dear.
Love you always,
Bucket
Brother-in-love,
The brother of our hearts, your love and kindness, set us apart.
In a world that's often harsh and cruel, you were a light, a shining jewel.
The bond we shared, the memories we made, will forever stay, and never fade.
For though you're gone, your legacy lives, in the love and light that it gives.
So farewell, dear brother-in-love, our friend, for in our heart, you'll never end.
Love always,
Brothers and Sisters in love
We'll plant real trees for you in Deacon Robert's memory and display your contribution forever.
