Day Lorena Sam, known affectionately as Day Day, passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 18. Born on November 13, 2005, in New Orleans, LA, Day Lorena Sam was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend.
Day Lorena Sam spent most of her life in Houston, TX, where she made countless memories with her family and friends. She had a vibrant personality and was always seen with a smile on her face. Day Day was known for her kindness, open-heartedness, and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and appreciated.
Her favorite hobbies included playing softball, spending time with her dogs, and cherishing moments with her loved ones. Day Lorena Sam had recently found joy in her job at Kemah Boardwalk, where she made lasting connections with those she worked with.
Seafood was Day's favorite cuisine, and she had a deep appreciation for music, with Michael Jackson being her favorite artist. Her bed was her sanctuary, and she found solace in the comfort it provided.
