Obituary

Dawn Michelle Kettlewood (Benson), beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and nurse, passed away unexpectedly on May 25, 2024, at the age of 55. She was born on December 14, 1968, in Ashtabula, OH, and most recently resided in Madison, OH.

Dawn's passion in life was to care for others. She attended the Knoedler School of Practical Nursing, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She dedicated many of her days to providing comfort and support to her patients, leaving a lasting impact on their lives.

Beyond her profession, Dawn had many interests and hobbies. She had a love for penny shopping, and enjoyed spending her time searching for hidden treasures. Dawn’s favorite place to be was on a cruise, where she could relax in the sun with those she loved.

Dawn, also known as "Aunt Dawn" to many, spent many summers hosting ‘Aunt Dawn's Summer Fun Club’ for her nieces, nephews, and eventually great nieces. Most recently she cherished the time she spent with ‘the little redheads’ more than anything.

Dawn's love and care extended beyond her immediate family. She is survived by her loving husband Kevin, children Leigha, Michael, Terry III, stepchildren, Amanda, Anna, Cayla, Madison, her sisters Cindy and Michelle, her brother-in-law Tiras, son-in-law Kareem, niece Alex, nephews Matt, Trey, Jaquan, Tiras Jr, and great nieces Marleigh, Kyla, Raelyn, and Ryla.

Throughout her life, Dawn spread love wherever she went. Her defining personality traits included a loving heart and an inability to say no. She loved and cared for everyone she encountered, and her influence will forever remain in the hearts and memories of those she touched.
