Dawn Louise Thrasher, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 69. She was born on August 24, 1954, in Libby, MT, and most recently resided in Fort Mohave, AZ.
Dawn lived a life dedicated to helping others. She was a compassionate and devoted teacher, spending many years working in the field of special education. Her caring nature extended beyond the classroom, as she also served as a dispatcher and EMT, always ready to lend a helping hand in times of need. Dawn was actively involved in search and rescue operations and volunteered at the local hospital, spreading love and kindness to all she encountered.
Her family was the center of her world, and Dawn loved nothing more than her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, embracing them all as her own, whether by blood or otherwise. She is survived by her loving husband, John Thrasher, their son Shawn, and daughter Brandy. Dawn's legacy lives on through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Dawn had a forgiving spirit, often extending grace to others even in difficult circumstances. She touched countless lives with the love she gave, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her impact on the community and the lives she touched will be cherished and remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dawn's memory. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her.
