Dawn Adams, age 77, of The Woodlands, TX, passed away on September 24, 2024. Born on August 2, 1947, Dawn was a strong-spirited woman with a lively sense of humor.
Dawn pursued her passion for the arts as an Art major at Harris County Community College growing as oil painter and specializing in pet and animal paintings for her clients. She also completed a large collection of still life, landscape and action paintings for her friends and family.
As a big fan of the rock and roll culture, Dawn enjoyed music, concerts, and cars. She was quite possibly Elvis' biggest fan and owned several fast American muscle cars in her day.
Her hobbies were her art, jewelry making, and most importantly, spending quality time with her family. Dawn's legacy in the arts continues to inspire those in her life including her grandchildren.
Dawn was preceded in death by her father, William Ulysees Adams; mother, Alta Jayne Hill; and brothers, Billy, Bobby, and Albert. She is survived by her sisters, Clementine French and Mariana Gonzalez; her sons, Allen, Todd, and Scott Sanders; her grandchildren, Lauren, Reid, Avery, Raven, and Jack; and great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Declan, and Maeve.
