David Warren Briscoe, born on February 28, 1960, in Houston, MS, passed away unexpectedly on June 29, 2024. He resided in Myrtle, MS, and was beloved by all who knew him.
Services to honor David’s life will on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon with a visitation being from 9:00am till the start of the service. All being at United Funeral Service.
David had a variety of hobbies that brought him immense joy. He found solace in listening to music, spending time in his shop working on cars, and engaging in conversations with people. He had a deep love for all animals and cherished their presence in his life. David particularly had a soft spot for southern rock music, with Lynyrd Skynyrd being one of his favorite bands.
Known for his unique personality, David was a one-of-a-kind individual. He had a natural ability to connect with people, even those he had never met before. His infectious laugh and witty sense of humor brought smiles to the faces of those around him. David took great pride in his work and was regarded as multitalented, capable of accomplishing anything he set his mind to.
Above all, David cherished his family and his faith. He was married to Nancy Bagwell Briscoe for 35 beautiful years. Their love was a testament to the strength of their bond. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Meghan Boyd, and his son-in-law Dalton who he thought of as the son he never had. David also considered Ejai Berryman and his wife Mallory as part of his own family. He adored his sister, Kay Charon, and her husband David, as well as his nephew Christopher Chafton and his wife Kyleigh.
In addition to his personal connections, David made a lasting impact on the lives of others. His cheerful demeanor and genuine love for people made him a joy to be around. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
David's spiritual journey led him to attend Calvary Church of New Albany, where he found comfort and guidance.
David Warren Briscoe's memory will forever be treasured by his family, friends, and community. May he rest in peace, knowing he left a lasting imprint on the hearts of those he touched.
