David had a strong work ethic and was passionate about making money. He found joy in his occupation as a housekeeper for Penn Jersey. In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports, with football being his favorite. ESPN was a constant presence on his TV, and he was an avid fan of the sport.

Music played an important role in David's life, and his favorite bands and musical artists included Force Md's. He had a soft spot for The Avenue, which he considered his favorite place in the world.

David was affectionately known as Dave by his loved ones. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his siblings, Johnell, Lena, Jackie, Kim, and Schawan, as well as his children, John, Derrick, and Lamar. His grandchildren Ayanna, Quimere, Quidere, Dayanna, DJ, and Amani Faith brought him immense joy.
