He had a lifelong love for "keying down" on his CB Radio. Dad would drive to the ends of the world to attend a CB event.

He loved to cook. He was a carpenter and always liked fixing his cars
All those black and white westerns shows would be blasting on his TV. Dad and Jayden(grandson) started watching Kitchen Nightmares together when spending the night.
David William Dennis, 84, of North Charleston, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at 9:15 a.m., surrounded by loved ones.
David grew up in Charlotte, NC, and dedicated over 30 years of service at MUSC. He was also known for his passion for "keying" down on his CB Radio. David will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude, and is survived by three daughters: Doreen, Monique, and Anika; grandchildren Brandon, Andrew, Dillon, and Jayden; and great-grandsons Asher, Ethan, and Azriel. David also shared a special bond with his bonus granddaughter, Launica Cox.
There will be a memorial service held to celebrate David’s life, rather than traditional funeral services. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring him at the Albert A. Glover Funeral Home, 113 Bryan St, Summerville, SC 29483, on September 18th at 11:00 a.m. EST.
