David was born in Shreveport La, to Mr. and Mrs Robert Jacobs David was the second of four children (all boys) brothers were Michael Jacobs (passed), John Phillip Jacobs & Richard Jacobs.

David became a father in his 30's to twins David & Allison Jacobs. david was a loving soul , he was a great husband , step father, brother in law. his presence will be greatly missed. david belonged to a group of men called clampers "ECV13 " he loved his friends he loved his clamper brothers . He had a true SOUTHERN soul , He loved RIDING HIS HARLEY building his Victory bike karaoke Barbequing was his greatest compliment "if you ever had his cooking you'll know what i mean".
