David Richard Koloski, born on October 10, 1961, in Detroit, MI, passed away on May 19, 2024, in Petoskey, MI. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
David's favorite pastimes included fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He had a particular love for Polish food and his freshly caught fish, especially walleye. Northern Michigan and the remote lakes of Canada held a special place in his heart. He was an avid football and baseball fan, finding joy in supporting his favorite teams.
David's proudest accomplishment was ensuring the welfare of his wife, Vicki, and his beloved family. He attended Cousino High School, Warren, MI, graduating in 1979. He leaves behind his sisters Linda Megie (Eric Groff) and Kathleen Koloski, along with his mother Jane McIntosh.
As the owner of Installation Specialties, David made significant contributions in his professional life. However, his true impact was felt through his hardworking, passionate, and loyal nature, leaving a lasting impression on all those who knew him. He loved nothing more than spending time with his family and his faithful canine companion, Josie.
David is survived by his children Joshua Karam, Jason Karam, and Brandi Koloski, as well as his grandchildren Lianna Karam, Ailey Karam, and Brynnan Karam. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and all those whose lives he touched. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing David surely has a story to share.
In addition to his personal connections, David was passionate about donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His Catholic faith held great significance to him.
In memory of David Richard Koloski, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated. He will be forever loved and remembered by his family, friends, and community. May he rest in peace.
