David Lynn Richardson, born on January 26, 1968, in Arcadia, Florida, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Centerville, Tennessee. Their passing marks the end of a life rooted in hands-on work, outdoor passions, and deep family connections.
David was the child of Randall Richardson and Barbara Ann Sawyer Richardson. Though both parents preceded them in death—Barbara in May 1979 and Randall in October 2000—their influence remained a guiding presence throughout David’s life.
David found joy and purpose in the simple yet meaningful pursuits that defined their days. They had a deep love for fishing, often finding peace and reflection by the water’s edge. Their dedication to lawn care reflected a pride in maintaining beauty and order around them. Whether working under the hood of a vehicle or building something from scratch, David’s hands were rarely still. They approached each project with determination and skill, always eager to take on new challenges.
Family was central to David’s world. They are remembered with love by their longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Jones. David was a devoted parent to six children: David Lynn Richardson Jr., Randal David Richardson Jr., Misty Ann Faye Richardson, Lily Marie Richardson Holloway (and her husband Joesph Elijah Holloway Jr.), Mary Renee Richardson, and Edward Lee Richardson. Their legacy continues through these children and through the shared memories they created together.
David also leaves behind their brother Wayne Richardson and sister Sandra Lynn Richardson. The mother of their children, Kimberly McNeese, remains an important part of the family tapestry that surrounded David throughout their life.
In every endeavor—from casting a line into quiet waters to repairing engines or crafting something new—David brought patience, care, and an unwavering work ethic. These qualities live on in those who knew them best.
May their memory bring comfort to those who knew them and serve as a lasting reminder of a life well lived through action, dedication, and love for family.
We'll plant real trees for you in David's memory and display your contribution forever.
