David Kwasi Lubega, aged 92, passed away peacefully on 09 February 2026.
A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, David was known for his steady wisdom and generosity. He worked as an English professor for more than 40 years and found great joy in teaching and developing the next generations.
He is survived by his wife, Anitta Lubega , three children, Daniel Lubega , Cookie Lubega, David Lubega jr .Five grandchildren Kenneth Little, Kevin Little, Eliana Little, Chrystal Johnson, Michael Johnson. A service of thanksgiving will be held at Memphis Hebrew Center on 13 February 2026 at 11 a.m. Family flowers only, please. Donations may be made to St Jude Hospital
