David John Ferguson, known affectionately as DJ, was born on February 12, 1975, in Overland Park, Kansas, and passed away on October 24, 2024 at home. A loving father, David cherished his relationship with his beloved son, Luna DC Ferguson.

He is survived by his child, Luna DC Ferguson, parents Lynn and David Ferguson, sister Tanya Thoene and nieces Bella and Amaya Thoene.

Dj had a passion for movies, technology, music, legos, and cars, which brought him immense joy throughout his life. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelors of Science. Being a Jayhawk was a proud accomplishment of his. He was particularly fond of dining at Dragon Inn, where he often enjoyed family meals. An avid sports fan, Dj passionately supported the Kansas City Chiefs, reveling in the excitement of football season.

Professionally, David excelled as a Communications Engineer, earning respect and admiration in his field.

David's favorite place in the world was the beach, where he found peace and happiness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, remembered for his kindness, passion, and unwavering love for his family.
