David Joe Greer, born on May 4, 1944, in Combine, Texas, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. A proud Vietnam Veteran, David dedicated his life to serving his country and instilled the values of bravery and commitment in his family.

David was known for his love of watching old Westerns and his fondness for cooking up hearty beef stew, which brought joy to many family gatherings. His favorite place in the world was his den, a space where he could relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his children, David, Linda, and Lisa Greer; daughter-in-law April Greer; and grandchildren Derrel Jr., Keidrick Goss, Markeish Henderson, David, Eric, and Erica Greer. He is also survived by his sister, Daisy White, who cherished their bond.

David’s legacy will be remembered by all who knew him, not only for his service in the Army but also for the love and wisdom he shared with his family and community. He will be deeply missed.
