Early years
David spent his early years living in Italy, Germany, France, and state-side due to his military family background.
Settlement
The family settled in Colorado Springs in the 60s.
Education
David attended CU in Boulder for a BA in American history, followed by a Masters at the U of Connecticut, and then back to CU for post-graduate studies. He graduated in the first class of Seattle University Law School in 1995.
Career
He worked as a panel attorney representing juvenile defendants at Remann Hall until his retirement in 2016.
Interests
David loved classical music, travel, good food and wine, closely following MSNBC, talking politics, and having his daily coffee down in the Proctor District.
Survivors
He is survived by Timothy Call, his life partner of 47 years, and his beloved Basset hound, Toby. Extended family includes brother Richard (Leslie Jaqua), niece Chris Weer, and nephew John Weer.
