David Bentley Reeve, affectionately known as Junebug and Junior, passed away on September 6, 2024, at the tender age of 16. Born on February 15, 2008, in Ennis, Texas, David most recently resided in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
David was an adventurous spirit who found joy in rollerblading, swimming, and playing video games. His love for water made any place with a pool or lake his favorite spot. He had a particular fondness for barbecue and pizza, often sharing meals with friends and family. Music was also a significant part of his life; he enjoyed listening to bands like Black Light District, which provided the soundtrack to his vibrant days.
A devoted fan of “My Hero Academia,” David found entertainment and inspiration in the show's themes. He loved to capture the excitement of games at Mt. Vernon High School, often documenting the moments that brought him happiness. His favorite sports included rollerblading and fishing, activities that allowed him to embrace the outdoors and stay active.
David is remembered for his unique sense of style, often seen wearing black, with blue being his favorite color. He is survived by his loving family, including his mother, Miykael Reeve; father, David Reeve; and sister, Mary Reeve. As a practicing Catholic, David's faith was an essential part of his life, guiding him in moments of joy and challenge.
David Bentley Reeve will be dearly missed by all who knew him, cherished for his infectious spirit, love for life, and the joy he brought to those around him.
