After graduating high school school, he joined the Navy. After his careers in the Navt, he made a life in California where he worked for the Board of Education for many years
Darryl Reed was born on April 8, 1971, in Harvey, Illinois, and he passed away on January 19, 2025, in the same city where he spent most of his life. Known for his unwavering faith, Darryl dedicated much of his time to serving Jehovah, passionately teaching and sharing his beliefs with anyone willing to listen.
A graduate of Thornton High School, Darryl excelled in athletics, playing basketball and running track. After high school, he joined the Navy, where he began a journey that would eventually lead him to California. There, he built a successful career with the Board of Education, positively impacting the lives of many.
Darryl was also renowned for his uncanny ability to find the best deals while grocery shopping, making every trip an adventure. He became somewhat of a legend in the grocery store community for his skills.
Darryl's love for life was evident in everything he did, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends in Harvey and beyond. His legacy of faith, kindness, and a zest for life will continue to inspire those who knew him.
