Born to James L Fitch Sr. and Mary L. Hawkins he was blessed to have many siblings. He is survived by sisters Vernon Mushtaq, Henri Etta Fitch and Arlie Fitch. He was proceeded in death by his siblings James Fitch, Priscilla Combs, Mary A Fitch, Dorothy Washington, Samuel Fitch, John Fitch and Denith Fitch.
He was united in marriage of 24 yrs to Andrea Fitch. He was a dedicated step father to Victor Creel and Maurice Wilson. He enjoyed spending time with his grand children Ashanti Raymond, Trenten Creel, Devon Creel and Payten Creel
Darrick will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all that knew him. He was a known as a philosopher at times, had the gift for gab. Always a character often called "Waldo" by nieces and nephews.
