Darren Lee Williams, It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darren Williams a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, profound grandfather ,family member, and passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan, who left us on February 28th, was born on May 14thin Louisville, KY, to Delois Williams and Jimmy Woods. He gained his wings in the early morning hours of Friday, February 28th, 2025, in Cincinnati, OH.
Darren will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Though his life was far too short, he touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.
He is survived by his loving mother, Delois Williams, and the late father Jimmy Woods. One sister Tammie Williams and one brother Lonnie Williams, 6 children Darnisha, Darren jr, Twain, Deshan, Courtney and Dasia Williams. a host of loving grandkids who will miss him deeply as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and long term church members.
Darren was known for his love for football and anything that involved food, he was a passionate Pittsburgh fan who he thought the world of win, loose, or draw. His kind heart had a deep passion for helping others and traveling the world, experiencing new cultures, and exploring everything life had to offer. But above all, he cherished time with his family. Anyone who considered themselves a part of his life was family to him, and he made everyone feel welcome with his kindness and generosity. His love for adventure and family was unmatched, and he leaves behind countless memories that will be treasured by those who knew him.
Darren worked tirelessly and with great intention to rebuild and strengthen relationships with his loved ones. He was known for making everyone around him feel special, loved and valued. Whether it was a kind word, a smile, and as always a reminder of how good god is, followed by a prayer that he always included you in. Darren had a remarkable way of making others feel appreciated. In his later years of life he made it his duty to be committed to his family, friends and community. It was a privilege to know such a kind soul.
