Darrell Ray Lakey, of New Boston Texas, age 49, was born August 22, 1975, in Spokane, Washington and died November 12, 2024, peacefully at home, after a lifelong battle with diabetes.
He is survived by his stepfather, Harry Matson sr. 2 Sisters, Rosita Gallagher(Jeffery) and Tamara Winge. 3 brothers, Harry Matson Jr.(Pamela), Tommy Matson, and Anthony Matson (Marion). Several cousins he considered brothers, Son of his heart, Joseph Kincaid, and daughter of his heart Autumn Parisi-Gove . 2 grandchildren, 16 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, father William Darrell Lakey sr., mother, Elena Rose(nee’ Newell) Matson, and Brother William Darrell (Lakey jr.) Harp.
His celebration of life will be held on December 7, 2024, in New Boston, Texas. Details available upon request from a family member.
