Obituario

Darrell Eugene Boucher, born on February 12, 1944, in Rolla, North Dakota, passed away on August 15, 2024, in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather with a passion for family and life.

Darrell grew up at Yellow Corners in Rolette, ND. He married his love Sandra Tennancour in 1964. They were married for 60 years. He dedicated 46 years to the transportation industry. He earned his pilots license and loved to fly. A true North Dakotan, Darrell had a wide array of hobbies, including making knives, racing, hunting, making wine, and following Sioux hockey. He often found joy tinkering in his garage (…Skidster anyone??) and cherished time spent at the lake or browsing Menards.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Boucher, his daughters, Jackie Nesdahl and Dana (Leo) Denault; daughter-in-law Deb Boucher; his grandchildren, Justine, Jade, and Jaxon (fiancee Erika) Middleton, and Ty and Sydnee Boucher; his great-grandson, Coasten Middleton and his 4 sisters. Darrell was preceded in death by his son Len Boucher; son-in/law Brent Nesdahl, parents, Mabel and Delbert Boucher; and; his brother, Gordon Boucher; .

Darrell's life was guided by the motto, "It's good enough for who it's for," a reflection of his generous spirit and dedication to those he loved. 😉 He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his beloved pet, Abbilyn.
