Darrel Ray Wilson, 73, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Snellville, Georgia. He was born on June 29, 1951, in Findlay, Ohio, to Dale and Margaret (Lootens) Wilson. 

Darrel was a lifelong mechanic with an undeniable passion for cars. He had a particular fondness for older Ford Falcons and motorcycles, spending countless hours working on vehicles and perfecting his craft. His love for mechanics was not just a profession but a way of life—he was always under the hood of a car, fine-tuning engines and restoring classic automobiles. Some of his most cherished moments were spent riding motorcycles with his buddies, enjoying the open road and the camaraderie that came with it. 

Darrel is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his sister, Peggy; and his children: Shelia (Elizabeth) Wilson, Angie (Denny Jarrett) Buttles, Colin (Delia) Miracle, and Ryan Flugga , step children: Kelli (Jeff) Leister, Troy Koon, and Lucille Willier. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Joslynn, Jon, Dalton, Chyanne, Grace, Dakota, Kristina, Rebecca, Gregory, Andrew, Beau, and Hunter, and many great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Dale Jr., Sondra, Richard Dwayne, Owen, and Thomas. 

Darrel’s legacy lives on through the many cars he repaired and restored over the years and through the memories shared by those who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who loved him.
