Obituary
Darnell was a Vietnam veteran as well as a Iraqi Freedom veteran. He wore a dog tag around his neck that had significant words on the front and back of it . On one side it read , Operation Iraqi Freedom: I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified or discouraged, for the lord my god is with me whenever I go ( Joshua 1:9) . On the other side it reflects, the prayer of Salvation- Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, I repent for my sins, and right this very moment I receive you as my lord and savior. Amen.
