We can't express our unbelievable gratitude for Darlene's life without mentioning MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She taught us about resilience, strength, determination, unwavering faith and perseverance with her medical battles. With the help of MD Anderson, she overcame a congenital heart defect that included a cardiac arrest in her 20s followed by open heart surgery, a fertility journey and lastly, a courageous battle against anaplastic thyroid cancer.
