Danielle Alexis LaPierre, born on July 3, 1988, in Waterville, Maine, Unexpectedly passed away on October 2, 2024, in Augusta, Maine. Danielle was raised in Augusta and Monmouth. She was a vibrant soul, known for her bubbly personality and her passion for cheerleading, which she embraced throughout her school years.
Danielle was a beloved daughter to her parents, Danny and Paula LaPierre of Monmouth and a cherished sister to Ka-Sandra, Jessica and Rachel.
Danielle's love for family was evident in every aspect of her life; she adored her nieces and nephews, Shaelynn and Landan LaPierre, Michael and Genevieve Cirello, Taran and Elizabeth Perry. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the companionship of her beloved cats, Peanut, Coo Coo, Caillou, and Pawcoo, as well as the childhood family dogs, Nelly and Daisy.
A college graduate with a 4.0 GPA, Danielle earned her associates degree in Business Management, showcasing her intelligence and determination. She brought joy to those around her with her favorite hobbies, including cheerleading, watching movies, love of cooking, going on cruises with family, and enjoying bonfires and mudding adventures. Danielle had a taste for good food, particularly her mom's braised beef and her sister's pork tenderloin. She found solace in music, with her favorite artists like Soul Asylum, Eminem, Tracy Chapman and Kid Lario.
Danielle's zest for life extended to her favorite shows, such as "CSI," "Swamp Murderers," and "Sister Wives". Danielle was known for her willingness to help others, and she touched many lives with her kindness, even when facing her own challenges. Her friends and community members remember her as a loyal companion, with special mentions to her longtime friend Dee Mason.
She is survived by her parents- Danny and Paula LaPierre of Monmouth, sisters: Ka-Sandra LaPierre and her partner Ben Sprague of Monmouth, Jessica Payne and her husband Jamie of West Gardiner, and Rachel Crawford and her partner Danny Moran of Readfield. Nieces: Shaelynn, Genevieve and Elizabeth, nephews: Landan, Michael and Taran. Also by her grandmother Beverly Rogerson of West Gardiner/Monmouth and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Danielle is predeceased by her beloved Pepere and Memere Amie and Constance LaPierre of Augusta, Aunt Sandra Damren of Windsor, Uncle Kenny LaPierre of Vasselboro, and grandfather Roger Rogerson of Randolph, as well as her cousin Zachary Wood of West Gardiner.
Danielle Alexis LaPierre will be remembered for her joyful spirit, love for family, and the laughter she brought into the lives of everyone she met. Her favorite saying, "You only smile because you don't know what's going on around you," reflects her vibrant outlook on life and will resonate with those she left behind. She will be missed dearly by everyone around her who's lives she touched.
