Daniela Jane Cortéz, lovingly known as Danny, was born on June 22, 2000, in Richmond, VA. She peacefully passed away on March 13, 2024, in Tappahannock, VA.

Throughout her life, Daniela cherished spending time with her loved ones and family. She had a kind and loving soul that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Daniela had a passion for exploring different cuisines and loved going out to eat, with sushi and seafood boils being her all-time favorites.

Daniela was an exceptional student and graduated high school with a remarkable 4.0 GPA. She continued her academic journey at university and graduated at the top of her class. She pursued a career as a Dental Hygienist, making a positive impact on the oral health of her patients.

One of Daniela's life mottos was to live life like there's no tomorrow and to live it to the fullest. She believed in embracing every moment and making the most of each day. Her infectious happiness brightened the lives of those around her.

Daniela was engaged to her beloved fiancé, Makai Melbarí, and they shared a deep love and connection. Their relationship was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Daniela's generosity and kindness knew no bounds, and she left a lasting impact on the lives of others. Her giving nature and loving spirit made her the kindest person ever.
