Daniel Wade Shirrel Sr., born on April 6, 1977, passed away at the age of 48 on September 8, 2025, in Hamilton, Ohio. Known for his vibrant and outgoing personality, Daniel's presence was a source of joy and laughter for all who knew him. His love for classic rock, 80s and 90s country music, and WWE wrestling were among his most cherished interests. Daniel completed his early education at Grant Elementary and Hamilton High School, later earning his GED. Beyond his formal education, he was also a self-taught computer whiz, enjoyed singing, and was a self-proclaimed night owl, often delving into various projects and passions during the late hours. Daniel is survived by a loving family, including his mother, Sally Roark; stepmother, Jan Shirrel; sisters, Denise Farthing, Brandie Wadtkins, and Athena Criswell; children, Daniel Shirrel Jr., Ayreonna Shirrel, Madilyn Shirrel, Jamie Farthing, and Evan Shirrel; and grandchildren, Sabrina McFarland, Joan Santana Jr., Hazely Shirrel, Gabriel Shirrel, and Jasper Shirrel. His life was also blessed with a daughter-in-law, Haley Shirrel. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Shirrel; grandparents, Joel and Sadie Stout; uncles, Paul and Jim Stout; and his best friend, Paul Taylor. A celebration of Daniel's life will be held at Kelly's House of Love on Saturday, September 20th, at 2 PM. This gathering will honor his memory and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of those he touched.
