Daniel had 3 children , Michelle (Edward) Stacey, Ingrid ( Jim) Hampton, and his son Daniel Jr. (Cheri) Arts. They gave him 8 grandchildren that definitely kept him busy . That grew up to give him 18 great grandchildren that he adored even more.

Obituary

Daniel Jude Arts Sr. was born on September 30, 1940, in Escanaba, MI, and remained a beloved member of the community throughout his life. A devoted husband to his beautiful wife Marlis for 64 years, Daniel cherished every moment spent with his family. He was a proud father to three children: Michelle (Ed) Stacey, Ingrid (Jim) Hampton and Daniel Jr. (Cheri) Arts who blessed him with eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom he adored and who kept him joyfully busy.

Daniel's warm spirit and willingness to help others defined his character. He was known for his love of family gatherings, often found enjoying time at his Camp Four of a Kind, hunting, and four-wheeling. One of his greatest joys was dancing with Marlis at any opportunity that arose.

He attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and graduated from Escanaba High School. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Leona Arts, and his siblings Denis, Rita, Wayne, Darlene, Nancy, and Eddie. He is survived by his sister Charlene, his loving wife Marlis, his three children, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy of kindness and love.
