Obituary
Boone Hern, 41, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on March 7, 2024, in Ionia, MO. He was born on March 13, 1982, in Sedalia, MO.
Daniel, known to many as Boone, was a softhearted individual who cherished his interactions with people. Whether he had known someone for a lifetime or just a brief encounter, that person became his closest friend or family.
He found joy in the outdoors and had a deep passion for fishing. Boone's love for nature and the serenity it brought him was evident to all who knew him.
Boone will be dearly missed by his biological mother, Katherine Hern, his siblings Wesley Libby, Laura Hern, Briana Villatoro, as well as bonus siblings Mark Mejia, Christina Mejia-Torres, Tina Faust, his aunts; Mary Garcia, Elaine Whal-Bejarano, Rusty McPherson, Shirley Serrano and Tracy Diaz, his uncles; Floyd Hern, David Hern and Michael Hern, and by countless cousins and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel E. Hern, Betty J. Hern, uncles Daniel Hern, John Hern, aunts Melinda Perez, Angela Hern.
A Celebration of Life in remembrance of Boone will be held at Gumbo Point in Malta Bend, MO, at 4 pm.
May Boone's memory live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him.
