Joel loved all sports and played most of them. Baseball, football, soccer and especially practicing tennis with Jason Hawkins his best friend
Joel loved most foods and appreciated get to gathers with his friends and family. His best cook was his wife Sandra
Joel played tuba and played in the Lakewood High School band in Lake Odessa Michigan and was invited to play with the Grand Rapids Michigan Symphony
Joel was a compassionate person and loved people. Loved to laugh, loved a good joke. Life was meant to be lived honestly, with compassion for people especially Buffalo Bills fans, he was the biggest fan. He loved his family and reached out to them very often. Joel believed in prayer, believed in encouraging his loved one around him.

Damian favorite place was Lake Eris, he loved the dark beach
Joel's favorite sports were all of them especially football. A Buffalo Bill fan at a very young age, Red Wing fan in college, any tennis match was for him to see
Joel and his brother were very close. No two brothers could have loved or supported each other more
Damian Joel Moesta, known to his loved ones as Joel, was born on February 18, 1980, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He recently resided in Houston, TX, where he built a life filled with love and cherished memories.
Joel had a passion for sports and actively participated in various athletic activities. He enjoyed playing baseball, football, soccer, and spent countless hours practicing tennis with his best friend, Jason Hawkins. Joel's love for sports extended beyond playing them; he was an avid supporter of the Buffalo Bills and the Red Wings.
Music was also a significant part of Joel's life. He played the tuba and was a member of the Lakewood High School band in Lake Odessa, Michigan. His exceptional talent led to an invitation to play with the Grand Rapids Michigan Symphony.
Joel's warm and compassionate nature endeared him to everyone he met. He had a contagious laugh and a great sense of humor, always ready to share a good joke. He believed in living life honestly and with compassion for others, reaching out to his family and loved ones frequently. Joel embraced prayer and found solace in supporting and encouraging those around him.
In his free time, Joel delighted in the company of his pets, cheering on his beloved Buffalo Bills during their games, and collecting Star Wars memorabilia. His favorite place in the world was Lake Eris, where he cherished the tranquility of the dark beach.
Joel's passing on July 24, 2024, leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his spouse, Sandra J Moesta, and their son, John R. SKIPPER, II. His parents and brother mourn his loss deeply.
Damian Joel Moesta will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
