Obituary for Dalen Scott Robertson
FORT WORTH, TX – Dalen Scott Robertson, 62, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born in Fort Worth on December 28, 1962, to Cullen Bob Robertson and Sylvia Jennette (Hampton) Robertson, Dalen was a lifelong resident who brought passion and creativity to everything he did.
Dalen dedicated his professional life to precision craftsmanship, starting his career as a machinist before advancing to a planning role at both Bell Helicopter and Lockheed Martin. His colleagues admired his dedication and meticulous nature, skills he honed over decades in the field.
Beyond his career, Dalen's life was defined by his diverse passions. He was an avid classic motorcycle restorer, finding and reviving vintage bikes that others had forgotten. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and loved the thrill of dirt bike riding. Dalen was also a gifted musician and played bass guitar with several bands, including TastyLixx and Sucker Punch. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his beloved wife, Char, making memories together on the beaches of Port Aransas.
Dalen was preceded in death by his parents, Cullen Bob and Sylvia Jennette Robertson, and his brother, Perry Robertson.
He is survived by his loving wife, Char Marie (Hurt) Robertson, and his sister-in-law, Karen (McReynolds) Robertson. He also leaves behind his cherished children: Rhianna Robertson, Cameron Robertson, Christeena (Coldwell) Braucht, Hayden (Haleigh) Vitek, Lauren (Yino) Vitek, and Audry Mooneyham and Five Grandchildren. Dalen will be dearly missed by his brother by choice, Brian Edgington, and his wife, Laura, along with many other relatives and friends whose lives he touched.
