Cynthia Ann Woods, known affectionately as Cindy, was born on August 2, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away peacefully on October 24, 2024, also in Fort Worth, where she spent her most recent years surrounded by family and friends.
Cindy was a dedicated mother and grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her children—Lance, Teresa, and Tracie—and her beloved grandchildren, Meagan, Trent, Colton, Kristina, Dale, and Journie. Her greatest joy in life was being an integral part of her grandchildren's lives, and she took immense pride in nurturing those relationships.
Throughout her life, Cindy enjoyed various hobbies, including barbecuing with family and friends, cooking, and caring for her dogs and plants. She was a fan of Conway Twitty and could often be found watching her favorite Lifetime movies. Known for her cheerful spirit and her motto, "Pitch or catch," she embodied a loving and supportive nature, always ensuring that her children and grandchildren were well taken care of.
Professionally, Cindy worked as a bartender, where her friendly demeanor and sociable personality shone through. She also enjoyed playing darts and was known for her kindness and warmth, making her a beloved friend to many.
Cindy is survived by her sister Martha, brothers Chip and Bobby, and sister Michelle, as well as her three children and grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will be remembered for her unwavering love and vibrant spirit.
