Cristin Noel Austin, who brought joy and love to those around her, was born on October 25, 1991, in Jacksonville, Florida. She passed away on August 16, 2024, while residing in Thornton, Colorado. Cristin was a proud mother of her two daughters, who were her proudest accomplishments and the center of her world.
A free spirit with a big heart, Cristin was known for her caring and loving nature. She enjoyed spending her time with her children, family, and friends, often indulging in her favorite hobbies such as reading, listening to music, and attending band camp and Young Life Camp. Cristin had a particular fondness for country music, with Trisha Yearwood, George Strait, and Alan Jackson being her favorite artists. Her love for music was reflected in her favorite songs, including "She's in Love with the Boy" by Trisha Yearwood and her father's rendition of "Achy Breaky Heart."
Cristin was known for her love of good food, particularly pizza, chicken Alfredo, macaroni and cheese, and barbecue chicken. She was a fan of various TV shows, including "Heartland," "Criminal Minds," and "Barney," which brought her joy and comfort.
She is survived by her beloved parents, Melissa Whitney and Joseph Austin Jr., her 2 daughters Victoria Britt and Bella Britt ,her brother Christopher Austin, and her maternal grandparents Pearl and Mickey Lewis, as well as Rodney Sr. and Tiffany Sumner. Her paternal grandparents, Jean Austin, also hold her memories dearly.Proceeded by death is her Grandfather Joseph Austin Sr.
Cristin embraced life with a quote that resonated deeply with her spirit: “Lives are like rivers: Eventually they go where they must. Not where we want them to.” Her generous heart and willingness to help others left a lasting impact on those who knew her. She will be remembered for her warmth, intelligence, and the love she shared.
In her own words, Cristin captured the essence of motherhood in her cherished poem, "Walk Along Side Me Mama," which reflects her nurturing spirit and the values she wished to impart to her daughters. Cristin Noel Austin will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those she touched.
