Craig Eugene Davis, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on August 3, 2024, at the age of 54. He was born on January 27, 1970, in Aurora, CO, and most recently resided in Lavista, NE.
Craig had a passion for fishing and video gaming, which brought him much joy throughout his life. He also had a hearty appetite for S.O.S, Morel Mushrooms, and Buffalo Wings. When it came to music, Craig had a wide range of favorites, including AC/DC, Metallica, Stevie Nicks, Tool, Godsmack, Papa Roach, Shinedown, and Alice in Chains.
One of Craig's greatest joys in life was being a father. He had three beautiful children: Tyler, Heather, and Austin. His love for them was immeasurable. Craig found solace in spending time with his children and cherished the memories they created together.
Colorado held a special place in Craig's heart, as it was his favorite place in the world. He also found great entertainment in watching Star Trek and Star Wars, and he was a dedicated fan of the Miami Dolphins. Craig had two beloved pets, Bandit and Daisy, who brought him companionship and joy.
Craig's proudest accomplishment was being a member of the Merna Volunteer Fire Department, where he dedicated his time and efforts to serving his community. He also had the honor of raising the United States flag at Pine Valley Elementary School @ The United States Air Force Academy for six years.
In addition to his children, Craig is survived by his parents, Michael Davis (Julie); his siblings, Duane Davis and Dawn Giles (Rich); and his grandchildren, Zoey Jean, Everlee Mae, and Zadie Ann. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Craig Eugene Davis will be remembered for his kind heart, love for his family, and his unwavering dedication to serving others. May he rest in peace knowing that his legacy lives on through the memories he created with his loved ones.
