Craig Apple, beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on July 6, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on July 21, 1953, in Youngstown, OH, and had been residing in Dayton, OH.
Craig had a zest for life and a passion for various hobbies. He found solace and joy in fishing, boating, drawing, and spending time with his daughter, Andrea. He often expressed that he didn't live to eat, but rather ate to live. Craig appreciated a wide range of music, with favorites including ASK, The Beatles, Kings Of Leon, Twenty One Pilots, and anything from the classic rock genre.
Perhaps nothing brought Craig more happiness than being on the water or relaxing on the beach. He cherished every moment spent in a boat, indulging in his love for fishing. His favorite place in the world was precisely that - on the water, surrounded by nature's wonders.
Professionally, Craig owned a print shop where he served as the chief artist, showcasing his remarkable talent. His artwork was admired by many, and he took great pride in his craftsmanship.
Craig's proudest accomplishments included raising his daughter, Andrea, and his drumming skills. He treasured the time spent with Andrea and was immensely proud of her strength, musicality, artistic abilities, and her role as a devoted mother.
Survived by his daughter, Craig was the last of the three Apple brothers to pass on. He will be remembered for his hilarious personality, often cracking jokes that only he could fully appreciate. Craig remained level-headed and unphased by life's challenges, rarely displaying anger throughout his lifetime. He possessed exceptional artistic talent, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Craig's genuine goodness and his refusal to speak ill of others left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
One memorable anecdote that captures Craig's essence was during a pool party where he unexpectedly fell through the pool. Despite the chaos that ensued, his infectious laughter and lightheartedness brought joy to all who witnessed the incident.
Craig's warm and loving presence made him unforgettable to all who knew him. Even Andrea's friends looked forward to his company whenever she spent time with them. His mumbling and self-conversations may have been difficult to understand at times, but his kindhearted nature left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who crossed his path.
Craig Apple will forever be cherished and dearly missed. May he rest in peace.
