Courtney Lord, born on October 4, 1990, in St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away on September 17, 2024, in Crystal River, Florida. She was 33 years old. Courtney, affectionately known as "Court Court," was a loving mother and devoted fiancée, engaged to Kyle Kovie.

Courtney found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including shopping, dining out, and indulging in her favorite foods, particularly Taco Bell and chocolate ice cream. A devoted fan of Kevin Gates and a proud supporter of Roll Tide, she brought her unique southern charm and captivating long curly hair to every gathering.

Throughout her life, Courtney was known for her adventurous spirit, taking on any job that came her way with enthusiasm, even if she had no prior experience. She achieved her GED, a milestone she cherished, and took immense pride in being a mother to her three children: Peyton and Brianna Shanks, aged 15, and 2-year-old Savannah Rose Michael.

Courtney had an extraordinary ability to change the lives of those around her without even realizing it, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. She will be remembered for the countless hours she spent searching for her lost belongings, a testament to her vibrant personality and zest for life.

Courtney is survived by her loving mother, Crystal Lord of Crystal River, Florida; her three brothers, Thomas Lord of Pensacola, Florida, Dustin Tylor Lord of Atmore, Alabama, and Jeremiah Titus Lord of Mobile, Alabama; her sister, Sarah Lord of Mobile, Alabama; her grandmothers, Glenda Lord of Atmore, Alabama, and Helen Elizabeth Warner of Beverly Hills ,Fl and her children. She is preceded in death by her Father,Thomas Marvin Lord grandfather, Michael J. Warner, her grandmother Geraldine Rose Irving of Rhode Island, and her grandfather Robert Lord of Alabama.

A believer in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Courtney’s spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her laughter, warmth, and unapologetic love for life will be deeply missed.
