Playing bocce ball at the club castropignano Fishing Driving to Port Dalhousie to feed the birds
He was born in Castropignano Italy. Immigrated to Buenos Aires Argentina where he met and married his wife Giulia Greco of 64 years along their two daughters Filomena and Susan. They immigrated together as a family to Canada and lived in Port Colborne, Thorold and eventually St. Catharines. He was known as "Nonnito chiquito" to his grandkids and he was proud of it. Always making jokes about his small stature and never took life too seriously. There was always time for making others laugh with his silly stories or jokes that never got old. He loved music, singing in the club castropignano club and was a self taught accordion player. He could be found in his man cave playing the flute most days, or whistling along some tune while working in his shed and garden.
To drive his little green car to Port Dalhousie where he'd sit by the water and feed the birds or take a drive to Niagara Falls and play at the casino. He loved watching all his Juventus soccer matches on Fubo with his wife and they'd sit together every night to enjoy some chocolate ice cream on the couch before bedtime
Castropignano Italy was his home town and he was proud of his roots. Always had stories from "back home" and to share. He loved spending time at Port Dalhousie in st Catharines. He'd drive there everyday to sit by the lake and feed the birds.
He loved Juventus soccer team and also Argentina soccer
His three grandchildren Jessica, Adrian and Sabrina will miss him immensely
His superpower was always finding ways to make others laugh. He had a joke for everything. His big bright smile and contagious laugh brought happiness to those around him
He liked to do woodworking in his shed and could be found building things such as benches, picture frames, stools, and other things when he felt creative.
