Connie Maureen Luthi, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on August 11, 1946, in Outlook, SK, Canada, and resided most recently in Melfort, SK, Canada.
Connie had a wide range of interests and hobbies, including knitting, crocheting, various crafts, sewing, reading, and playing mahjong on her iPad. She was known for her exceptional talent in making delicious cabbage rolls and was a dedicated fan of Elvis Presley. Connie found joy in watching her favorite TV show, "The Young and the Restless." Her family affectionately called her "Mama."
In her younger days, Connie was a fearless biker chick who loved to travel and had a unique taste for ketchup on her pancakes. She found solace in the motto "Taking care of business," inspired by Elvis Presley. Connie was employed at several notable organizations throughout her career, including Saskatchewan Wheat Pool in Regina, SK, Phillips Publishers, and Trawin Seeds, both in Melfort, SK.
Above all, Connie cherished her husband, Ken, and considered him her greatest love. She took immense pride in her children, Terry and Tina (Marty), as well as her grandchildren, Ayden, Isaac, Cory (Robyn), Tristin (Danielle), Maya, and Autumn.
Connie is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Edith Moulds, her son Terry, and her brother Mark (Heather). She is survived by her loving husband, Ken, her daughter Tina (Marty), her grandchildren, her brothers Rodney and Kevin Moulds, and numerous extended family members and friends.
Connie's vibrant personality was contagious, and her laughter could light up any room. She had a warm and welcoming nature that made everyone feel loved and valued. Connie was actively involved in the community as a member of the Jayceettes and contributed to the cause by knitting dolls for soldiers to give to children while serving overseas. She held strong to her Lutheran Christian faith throughout her life.
Connie Maureen Luthi will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will continue to inspire those she touched.
