WHITE, Colton William, 30, Dartmouth, passed away in his mother’s arms, Saturday July 15, 2023, at the Dartmouth General Hospital while his best friend and partner, Frank held his hand. Born in Halifax, NS, July 21, 1992, he was the only son of Gillian Vera Rhindress Grant (White), NS, and Sean William White, NS. 

Colton was exceptionally gifted with a brilliant mind and a million dollar vocabulary. He was an avid reader, a prolific writer, talented story teller, and was musically gifted.  Although a violin prodigy, he preferred the guitar and could put anything to music after hearing it. Colton was proudly an asperger. He attended King’s-Edgehill school in his early years. He enjoyed life to the fullest, walked his own path and danced to the beat of his own drum. Colton recognized the importance of family and the meaning of his family's leadership during his early years. Colton was a kind, selfless, giving and loving person who saw the good in all and was a friend to many. 

He is dearly missed and forever loved.

He is survived by his sister, Julia Jane White, NS, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins. He was particularly appreciative of being reunited with his Uncle Mike and Aunt Julie prior to his passing.

A memorial will be led by Rev. Betsy Hogan at St Matthew's Church on Barrington Street with  in Halifax on Sunday, July 14, 2024 1pm-3pm. Please enter through the doors to the right of the Church.
