Cody Hopkins, born on April 29, 1971, in Vancouver, WA, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Salem, OR. He was a devoted husband to April Eagles, whom he married on November 5, 2016. Cody was known for his infectious laughter and his passion for making others smile.
A talented musician, Cody enjoyed spending time with friends and family, sharing his love for bowling, playing games, and indulging in his favorite foods, including steak, roast beef and potatoes, mint leaf chicken, Marion Berry pie, and salads. His eclectic taste in music was reflected in his fondness for bands like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, and Lenny Kravitz, as well as artists such as Myrl Haggard and Down from Hollow.
Cody had a special love for sports, particularly football, basketball, and wrestling. He often found humor and enjoyment in watching stand-up comedians on TV. His favorite saying, “All day, every day, and twice on Tuesdays,” encapsulated his vibrant approach to life.
He is survived by his parents, Tarey and Rocke Hopkins, his brother Bryan Hopkins, and sisters Buffy and Angel Hopkins. Cody will be remembered not only for his musical talents but also for his ability to brighten the lives of those around him. His spirit and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
