Clifton Jamaria Shipp, affectionately known as Cliff, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024, at the age of 51. He was born on January 29, 1973, in Detroit, Michigan, and resided in Haltom City, Texas at the time of his passing.
Cliff had a passion for making music and could often be found lost in the melodies he created. He also had a love for hamburgers and fries, savoring every bite. An interesting fact about Cliff was his fondness for taking his children on walks to explore nature, especially when it came to searching for bugs.
Above all, Cliff cherished his children and grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and he embraced his role as a father and grandfather with unwavering love and pride. Detroit, Michigan held a special place in Cliff's heart, as it was his favorite place in the world.
When it came to sports, Cliff enjoyed both football and basketball. He had a knack for finding joy in the simple pleasures of life and was often found making everyone around him laugh with his wit and humor. Cliff's positive outlook on life was captured by his favorite motto, "There's never something you can't do."
As a father and grandfather, Cliff's proudest accomplishment was his family. He found immense joy in being a dad to Matthew Shipp, Carson Shipp, and Timothy Long, and was even more delighted to be a loving grandad.
Cliff will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His funny, smart, and easy-going nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
