Cindy R. Scott, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 53. She was born on January 22, 1971, in Harlem, Manhattan, New York, NY, and was a lifelong resident of the neighborhood she loved.

Cindy had a zest for life and cherished the simple joys it had to offer. She found solace in watching movies, going out to eat, and spending quality time with her family, which meant the world to her. Cindy had a deep appreciation for music, especially the soulful tunes of Mary J. Blige. Her love for learning and traveling allowed her to broaden her horizons and experience the world in a unique way.

Cindy attended Maple Dean Beacon High School before pursuing higher education at Alfred University, where she graduated with a degree in public administration. She was a dedicated student and always strived for excellence in her endeavors.

Cindy was the daughter of the late Sheila D. Scott and the late Sidney Clark. She shared a close bond with her siblings, Tshawn Scott (wife Adrine from the Bronx) and Sidney Scott (Teniya from the Bronx). Cindy also had a late brother, Shelton D. Scott, who she loved dearly.

As a mother, Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She cherished her three sons, Wesley P. Fisher, Stephon Scott, and Darrell Fisher. She was immensely proud of them and their accomplishments.

In her downtime, Cindy enjoyed watching TV shows like Tyler Perry's "Sistas," "The Oval," and "Power." These shows provided her with entertainment and a chance to unwind after a long day.

Cindy's love for family extended to her grandchildren as well. She adored Kori Fisher, Kamran Zechariah, Geovanni Zechariah, and Tajh Zechariah, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
