Obituario

Christopher Rodney Espinosa, lovingly known as Chris, passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 55 in his hometown of Buckeye, Arizona. Born on June 28, 1968, Chris was a remarkable individual who left a lasting impact on the lives of those around him.

From a young age, Chris displayed a strong work ethic, beginning his career in his father's grocery store, "Cris's Market." Over the years, he worked for various organizations, including Ferrellgas, Palo Verde Nuclear Plant, The City of Phoenix, and even ventured into self-employment as a skilled general maintenance professional. Chris also had the opportunity to work alongside his uncle Roque Espinosa and cousin Reggie Espinosa at Atlas Van Lines. A true jack of all trades, he possessed an innate ability to fix almost anything, a skill he acquired from his father.

Chris had a passion for boating, fishing, hunting, and had a natural talent for pool. In his free time, he could often be found enjoying these hobbies at the Alibi or indulging in his love for spending time with family and friends at the Ranch.

However, nothing brought Chris more joy than spending time with his beloved son, Taylor Espinosa, who currently serves in the United States Army. Taylor was his pride and joy, and their bond was unbreakable.

Chris will be remembered for his strong and stubborn nature, as well as his kind-heartedness and unwavering commitment to his community. He had a vast network of friends and was known as the go-to person whenever something needed fixing.

He is survived by his son, Taylor Espinosa, his mother, Margie Espinosa, his sisters, Andrea Brannon and Kelli Marquez, and his brother, JC Espinosa. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Criselio Espinosa.

A celebration of Chris's life will be held to honor his memory. His legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
